The Curse of the Lake House is a new, one-act play about life, relationships, and a lake house. Written by playwright Michael Grover, Presented as 9 individual stories, The Curse of The Lake House is a dark comedy that follows two families over 450 years as they try to shake the curse that haunts them.
In an effort to improve the script, over the course of three months, 24 people gathered via Zoom to record video readings of the 8 scenes that make up the one-act play. The entire play reading has been edited with sound effects and imagery as well as original music by Leandro Ribeiro, and is available for viewing.
In keeping with the spirit of script-improvement, viewers are asked to give feedback on the play through a form or to contact the playwright directly.
